The rules of Elimination Blackjack gameplay may vary from one organization hosting it to another although the basic regulations are same as followed by all casino houses offering the game.

So, a player must bet within the prescribed limits of the minimum and maximum amount. This stipulation, however, is not used in the World Series of Blackjack. Surrendering and quitting play is allowed in Elimination Blackjack and the player forfeits 50% of his bet and recovers the other half. Insurance bet for players are also offered if the dealer’s face up card is an ace card. Moreover, the player is permitted to opt for doubling down with two cards. While generally not more than seven players are accommodated in a single game table of Elimination Blackjack, every participant is allowed only 25 seconds to make his decision for a nor al hand of play and 45 seconds for an elimination hand of play.

A significant rule followed by certain organizations offering the Elimination Blackjack game is the concept of secret bet which prevents other participating players from knowing the bet amount of one player while the player’s hand is in progress and not completed. Sometimes, this stipulation can be used only once during any given round.

As per the name, this game is all about eliminating players and the format of the tournament calls for elimination in any of the three ways. So, a player is out of play either hen all his playing chips are exhausted (there is no concept of re-buy like poker) or when his chips are toll less to pay the minimum bet amount prescribed by the table. Another situation is the elimination hands where after the 8th, 16th and 25th hands of play, those players left with the least amount of chips are eliminated form the game.

The Elimination Blackjack game is won either when a player remains last on the game table or when the 30 hands of play are over and has the highest chip stack among those left in the game.
